We came here to try the stinky tofu hot pot, and we also ordered the hakka pork belly, popcorn chicken, and pig ear. They were all delicious and it was more than enough food for us two since we had leftovers. The stinky tofu came in huge triangle chunks and I enjoyed that it wasn't sour like other ones I've had. The other meat items in the hot pot like intestine, tendon, and tripe were tender and flavorful. There wasn't much variety in the vegetables. I think it was mostly cabbage and a shitake mushroom, but it was a full pot overall. I haven't tried hakka pork belly before, so I didn't know it would have a sweet flavor. But I guess the vinegar is there to balance that out. I'd probably get that as a rice dish since it feels like more of a meal than a side. The popcorn chicken and pig ear were good, standard sides to have. I liked how homey the place felt and the servers were kind and efficient. Would definitely come back!

This place serves authentic Taiwanese food and we love their lunch combo sets. Been here a couple times and will continue to come if in the area. Everything is pretty tasty and is more than enough for 1 person. Some servers speak more English than others but they can help you order. They may just seem a bit brash when they're busy. Coming to this Mimi 5 Bobee location in Diamond is when we feel like getting some Taiwanese comfort food. This place's servers and store owner are super nice and friendly. This particular visit we ordered following dishes: Stew Seaweed - Great, this appetizer is made nicely and opens your appetite. Mini Stew Pork Chop w.Rice - Great, I like the stew or braise pork chop here. Flavor was great and the meat was tender and portions were big. Braised Meatballs W. Soy Sauce Rice - Great, our other favorite is the braised meatballs meal. You can never go wrong with it. Spicy Sticky Tofu pot - Great, during the cold season this spicy stick tofu really made the difference. This pot can add noodles and still taste great. We like coming to the Diamond Bar store because we feel welcoming and this location does provide better tasting dishes than other locations. Their prices are reasonable and portions are big.

Friend recommeded Mimi 5 Bobee which is authenticated with Taiwanese crusine to us. We often visit 5 Bobee restaruant on Nogales in Rowland Heights. So we decided to give a try on this one in Daimond Bar. The food was pretty good here. Braised Meatballs w/Soy Sauce Rice ($14) was really good, it came with veggies, white rice, mapo tofu and braised meatballs, the combination was just prefect. It's good for the lunch with very good price. Mimi Stew Pork Chop w/ Rice ($13) was great, the pork chop was so delicious and tender, it's good for the lunch as well. Stew Seaweed ($7) was good. The stew bitter melon with Mei Chi ($12) was very unique and healthy. Over all we enjoyed the food at Mimi 5 Bobee. The service is good. Only thing that I'd like to suggest to the restaurant is that the lighting is kind of too dim to me. Maybe they can adjust the light brighter. We will definitely come back again to try other dishes and the Shaved Ice.
